Luisa Omielan is a comedian, improviser and actress, a rising star of the UK comedy scene.

She has studied improvisation and clowning at Second City, the IO (Improv Olympic) and Comedy Sports Theatre in Chicago and she has taught improvisation for both grown-ups and kids in London.

 

Her debut solo show "What Would Beyoncé Do?!" has been called "One of the top UK comedy shows of the last decade" by the Guardian newspaper.

It sold out in Edinburgh 2012, and received 5 star reviews. It then went on to a London run at Soho Theatre, and has had 5 sell out runs there.

Back to Edinburgh in 2013 for a 10 date sold out run, which got extended to the whole run.

It also had a sold out West End run at Leicester Sq Theatre in December 2014.

WWBD made every single list of must-see comedy shows of 2012 and 2013 in the UK.

She has taken WWBD to Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Toronto, Singapore, New York, LA and is now taking it on tour to Australia, Mar - May 2015.

 

Her second show "Am I Right Ladies" sold out for the full run of Edinburgh 2014, received 5 star reviews, and is on its second sold out run at Soho Theatre now (Feb 2015).
